Cash strapped Cobh Ramblers produced an outstanding second half performance to end a seven match losing home sequence as they defeated Galway and moved above them at the foot of the table. The St Coleman's Park fans saw Ray Lally smash home a 30 yard rocket just after half time, Ross Gaynor streched Cobh's lead seven minutes later, before Iarlaith Davoren had Galway back in the game after 62 minutes.  More...

Ramblers 0-3 Derry City (9th August 2008)
Three second half goals gave fourth-placed Derry City the points against bottom-of-the-table Cobh Ramblers, who were suffering their seventh successive home defeat at St Colman's Park. Ramblers 0-4 Sunderland (28th July 2008)
Goals from Irish trio Anthony Stokes (2), Daryl Murphy and Roy O'Donovan gave Sunderland victory over Cobh Ramblers at Cork City's Turner's Cross ground. Murphy gave Sunderland the lead when he cut inside and finished low into the far corner, before Stokes doubled the score in the 52nd minute with a shot which deceived Cobh goalkeeper James McCarthy.  More...

Cobh Ramblers remain rooted to the foot of the table after a controversial match at St Colman's Park. The home side lead after 41 minutes when Davin O'Neill scored from close range. St Patrick's Athletic moved four points clear at the top of the Premier Division after a hard fought win over Cobh on Saturday evening.
