Ramblers 1-0 St.Pat;s
We are familiar with the footballing vocabulary of a game of two halves. This was it! Only this time both halves were bossed by Ramblers, as distinct from some previous games when the real meaning of the term rang true. A first win was savoured and came courtesy of Emmett O’Hanlon’s third goal of the campaign, in a game highlighted by individual excellence within a great team effort. A fact not lost is that the entire squad on the night was comprised of Under 17 and Youth team players.
