Limerick 37 1 –2 Cobh Ramblers
The teams second league fixture saw them travel away to Enistyman. On an immaculate pitch Rams were soon into their stride and Murphy, after a neat one-two between O’Neill and McBride, slammed the ball home. Better was to follow on 19 mins on 19 mins when McBride latched onto a short through pass to slide the ball home. A 2 nil lead at half time was well deserved . With Limerick enjoying more possession in the second half, Rams were content their lead and hit Limerick on the break. Limerick did score a consolation goal in the 88 min , but as the referee blew for full time Rams were camped in the Limerick half.

Manager Alan O’Sullivan and his assistant Darragh Burke, while happy with the results so far feel there is a lot more to come from the team and will continue to to work with the players to see them reach their full potential, The aim, as always, to unearth quality players that can progress to the league of Ireland team.
